Miley was honored at Variety’s Power of Women event as a “Lifetime Impact Honoree” alongside Laverne Cox, Ava DuVernay, Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson. Each of these amazing women are committed to social causes ranging from reproductive rights to anti-violence.
Miley was introduced by American Horror Story actress and advocate Jamie Brewer who said “We are all here today to celebrate the power of incredible women, and Miley shares that power with the world. Change happens when each one of us uses our power to help others. And that’s exactly what Miley is doing every day.”
